Rwanda has two main ethnic groups, the Hutu and Tutsi, the war between the two was featured in the movie "Hotel Rwanda." Today they are led by President Paul Kagame. Rwanda gained their independence in 1962 from Belgium. The GDP is estimated at $1.340 per capita.
