The congolese are divided into six ethnic groups; Luba 18%, BaKongo 16%, Mongo 14%, Rwanda 10%, Azandi 6% and Bandi+Ngali 6%. DRC is a semi-presidential republic, led by President Joseph Kabila. In 1960, they gained independence, after being colonised by Belgium. Today this Nations GDP stands at $348 per Capita.
